There were various types of workers involved like contractual workers, full time employees, teachers and retirees.
All employees mostly had multiple jobs i.e.. multiple assignments which they used to perform and used to get paid on both their jobs by the council. These earnings were then reported to the HMRC using the Oracle Fusion.
The Statutory leaves were also implemented on multiple assignments and the employee could take any leave on any of the assignments he chooses to. The statutory payments were done on the basis of these assignments and were also reported to the HMRC against those assignments itself.
Court Orders and Student Loans are also taken care of using Oracle Payroll with consideration to the protected earnings which HMRC enforces.
Pensions auto enrollment was also achieved with various providers as per the employee’s choice.
PAYE and NI balances were also converted mid-year as per the need of the projects.
Tax codes changes like P6, P9, P9B, etc. were also taken care using the seeded functionality given by Oracle.
Apprenticeship Levy was also reported successfully to the HMRC, organizations had an annual pay bill of more than £3,000,000 (3 Million Pounds).
EPS and FPS reporting to the HMRC is also seamless due to the month end reporting processes available in Oracle Fusion
